This one is recording of a class at The Southville Centre in Bristol where I teach a Yoga and Mindfulness course. The class weaves concepts from Mindfulness, and Mindfuless practices into Hatha yoga. We begin with a short explanation of the theme, then go on to a short sitting meditation followed by mindfully practiced postures and a closing meditation. Students are invited to take a simple practice home with them to think about for the week.
Please note: Yoga and Mindfulness are not separate things! They are the same, it's just the language around it and the way into it that looks a little different. The purpose of using Mindfulness techniques for Hatha Yoga is to make the broad context of yoga more accessible.
