This is a yoga nidra to do whenever you need help to see things more clearly. Do you ever find yourself reacting from fear or hurt and making poor judgments because you are stuck in a pattern?
Yoga calls this avidya - the inability to see things as they really are. This is known as ignorance, and it's something we are all vulnerable to. Practising yoga nidra can help you to filter out unhelpful patterns of thought and action, and help life the veil of illusion (maya) that clouds our understanding of the world.
